Darian's 78 Ford is the epitome of old full-size iron. This truck boasts a trusty 460/C6/205, which we improved on with the addition of an ORD Magnum under-drive unit. This allows for more low range gear ratios than previously had, including 2.72 and 5.33:1 ratios! The triple stick brute is outfitted with a 3 link front suspension, a triangulated 4 link out back, and enough travel to make even the most technical of trails a cake-walk. The axles are outfitted with 5.38 gears, the front Dana 60 including an ARB Air Locker. The front axle also utilizes Reid Racing knuckles, an Artec truss, Chromoly shafts, and PSC Hydro-Assist. The cab has also been improved upon with the addition of a full interior cage and Corbeau buckets. The truck is still in progress as design ideas improve and evolve, but we are excited to see this truck on the Rubicon in the very near future! Word is it may have an obscene amount of horsepower when it does...
