The W200 has been with us for over 10 years. What started as a very temperamental (albeit very fast) Turbo-Charged All-Wheel-Drive sleeper slowly made its transformation into a clean, daily-drivable, part-time 4x4 sporting lesson in many fields of vehicle modification. The truck went from having a TF727/NP203 behind a 6psi charged 383ci. to having an NP435/241 commanded by a 600hp+ 496ci. stroker. (Nerd Specs: 4.310 bore, 4.25 stroke, 10.35:1 compression, a forged Molnar crank, Hughes hydraulic roller cam and roller rockers, Edelbrock RPM aluminum heads, topped with a Brawler 850 fuel dripper.) The Dana 60s are equipped with 4.56 gears, a Detroit in the rear, and a TrueTrac up front. Rear suspension consists of a 54" Atlas leaf pack and Fox 2.0 RR Factory Series shocks. Most recently though is the front suspension system. We designed a Radius Arm system on this truck that would make make Walker Evans consider the straight front axle a viable option in his 1978 W100. With wide-mount coilover towers that allow the steering box to remain in its stock position, HD Radius Arms that allow for pinion and caster adjustment, a new fully boxed transmission crossmember and mounts, and most importantly, the right geometry to allow for fantastic handling and performance characteristics (you should feel the anti-dive under hard braking). 2.5 Fox RR Coilovers keep things elevated, making this truck a well-rounded choice to drive just about anywhere.
